Igår skrev jag ett inlägg på ett fink-forum om mina fåglar. En person svarade riktigt vettigt:

"I suspect the male is not ready to accept a new mate and remember, he does not know his mate died. As far as he is concerened, she is just out of eyesight to him, to come back anytime. So he sees this new female as a rival female, possibly a threat to he and his mate."
